Oral presentation guidelines
Oral presentations will be conducted as plenary sessions in the KIHADA Hall of Obaku Plaza. Speakers in general sessions will have 15 minutes for their presentation (10 min. for presentation and 5 min. for discussion). Speakers in special sessions will have 25 minutes (20 min. for presentation and 5 min. for discussion). The meeting room will be equipped with a video projector, a computer, a microphone, screens of appropriate size, and a timer to be used by the session chair to facilitate the session.

The supplied computer will run Microsoft Windows and PowerPoint 2010. If your presentation was created on a Mac or using different software, please convert it and test it before you come to the symposium.

Please bring your presentation file(s) on a USB hard drive or a USB flash drive, and make sure it gets uploaded to the presentation computer at least 10 minutes before your session. You will be able to upload your presentation during most breaks.

Note: If your graphics or video clips are not embedded in your presentation, please be sure to bring them as well. If your presentation was produced on a Mac and it includes embedded video, your video will most likely NOT play automatically on the PC platform. We strongly recommend that you test your Mac-produced presentation on a Windows-based system before arriving at the symposium.

Poster presentation guidelines
Poster presentations will be conducted at the Hybrid-Space of Obaku Plaza on the second floor. There will be one regular poster session at 12:30 – 13:50 on October 4.

We will provide poster boards on easels that are approximately 120 cm high by 90 cm wide. Note that these boards have a vertical (portrait) orientation. Pushpins for mounting will be provided during poster set up times. Please note that due to space constraints, we cannot provide tables or access to power supplies in the poster area.

Posters can be set up after afternoon on October 3, although the regular poster session will be 12:30 – 14:00 on Octber 4. Posters not removed by the end of the symposium will be discarded.
